Webyne Network Fair Use Policy (FUP) for VPS Clients
1. Purpose
This Fair Use Policy ensures fair access to Webyne’s shared network infrastructure for all VPS customers. It is designed to prevent excessive or abusive bandwidth consumption that could impact service quality for other users.
2. Bandwidth Allocation
Each VPS plan includes a specified monthly data transfer limit (as per the plan). This limit is applied per billing cycle.
Usage beyond the allocated limit may result in temporary speed reduction (throttling) or additional bandwidth charges, as defined in your plan.
Throttled speeds generally reduce to 100 Mbps until the next billing reset, or unless additional data is purchased.
3. Acceptable Usage
The VPS service must be used for legitimate business or personal purposes in accordance with applicable laws. Activities that are not permitted include:
Hosting or distributing malware, spam, or phishing content
Running open proxies, VPN relays, or public file mirrors
Engaging in DDoS attacks, port scanning, or network flooding
Using excessive network resources (e.g., sustained 100% port utilization) that disrupts shared bandwidth fairness
4. Monitoring and Enforcement
Webyne continuously monitors aggregate bandwidth and port usage to ensure balanced performance across clients.
If a VPS consistently consumes excessive bandwidth or impacts network stability:
The system will automatically throttle speed to the FUP threshold (e.g., 100 Mbps).
Repeated abuse may result in service suspension or termination after notice.
5. Additional Bandwidth
Clients requiring high or unmetered transfer can request:
Upgrade to higher FUP tier
Dedicated 1 Gbps or 10 Gbps port with fixed pricing
Custom traffic policies for CDN or AI workloads
6. Transparency
Webyne aims to maintain transparency in network usage. Customers can view real-time and historical bandwidth usage statistics through the VPS control panel (Virtualizor / Proxmox / WHMCS portal).
7. Policy Updates
This FUP is subject to periodic review. Webyne may modify limits or conditions with prior notice to ensure optimal service performance for all clients.
