An AMD Threadripper cloud server is a virtual server built on AMD Ryzen™ Threadripper™ PRO — a workstation and server-class processor with high clock speeds and 8-channel ECC memory — rather than the density-optimised hardware most cloud providers use. Webyne Data Center runs these servers from facilities in Mumbai and Noida, with every vCPU dedicated rather than shared, and automatic failover if a physical host fails.

An AMD Threadripper cloud server is a cloud virtual machine hosted on AMD Ryzen™ Threadripper™ PRO processors, with CPU cores allocated exclusively to a single customer.
Threadripper PRO was designed for professional workstations — engineering simulation, media production, and database development — where sustained clock speed and memory bandwidth matter more than raw core count.
Your vCPUs map to physical cores reserved for you. They are not time-sliced across other tenants.
Four times the memory channels of typical dual-channel cloud hardware, with error correction built in.
The mechanism is straightforward, and understanding it explains why performance differs so much from standard cloud.
01
On most cloud platforms, one physical core is oversubscribed across several customers. The hypervisor schedules them in turn. When another tenant is busy, your workload waits — this appears in Linux as CPU steal time. On Webyne HA Cloud, your vCPUs are pinned to cores allocated only to you, so steal time does not occur.
02
Density-optimised cloud hardware typically runs in the 2.2–2.6 GHz range. Threadripper PRO 3955WX runs at a 3.9 GHz base with boost up to 4.3 GHz*. For single-threaded work — which describes most accounting, ERP and query-execution workloads — this difference is close to linear.
03
Each core gets direct, equal access to memory rather than queueing behind others. Database scans, joins and multi-user sessions are frequently limited by memory bandwidth long before they are limited by CPU.
04
Servers run on a high-availability cluster. If a physical host develops a fault, your virtual server is restarted automatically on healthy hardware. You do not raise a ticket and wait for a hardware replacement.
05
Moving from HF-8 to HF-12 is a plan change, not a migration. No rebuild, no data transfer, no new IP.
Webyne delivers a range of services, including colocation, server hosting, and managed services from its private Tier III datacenter in Noida & Mumbai. The company offers businesses robust support from its five total datacenters and consults on disaster recovery, business continuity, and migration projects.
